Inspired by the works of Tiepolo, Rubens, and Bernini, and influenced by her love of allegory and myth, Leslie Jackson creates Classical and Baroque works on a grand scale. Hundreds of her original figurative sculptures and paintings are featured in private and public collections around the world.
Leslie studied the Renaissance oil painting techniques of the Old Masters while living and working in the John Angel Academy of Fine Art in Florence, Italy. From there she travelled to Antwerp, Belgium where she lived and worked among the World's greatest figurative art before returning to the United States in 2000.
Leslie runs a studio in the Renaissance tradition, specializing in the creation of original works of fine art, sculpture and painting. Architects, Designers and Liturgical Clients rely on her to create and coordinate well-crafted, complete and harmonious environments using painted, sculptural and architectural elements.
